Keep your curiosity alive.

It’s already been three days, and April 1 was the first day I joined the company.

On the first day, I listened to the president and other people giving their greetings, and one of the words that came up repeatedly was, “Keep your curiosity alive.”

For example, if you are in your 40s or 50s, you have been through a lot. You know or understand many things. So you lose your curiosity and stimulation from your work.

I feel the same things when I look at my father.

P.F.Drucker also said, “There is nothing more tiring than going out in the morning for something that doesn’t matter.”

Then, “How can we keep our curiosity alive?” I think the only way to do this is to change the environment.

No matter how much you try to change your mind, if the environment does not change, you will never be able to change your burnt-out mood.

Of course, it is not enough to change the environment. But I believe it is a necessary condition anyway.

Because of this, I decided to join the company. I felt like getting stuck as self-employed. So I wanted to change the environment.

When I was in a rut, I didn’t enjoy living and didn’t get good results.

Therefore, I think that the duties and positions in a company should change regularly, and if that is difficult, I may have to go to a different organization.

Well, as for me, for the time being, it would be difficult to lose my curiosity since there are only things I don’t know and things I don’t understand. But I thought I would keep in mind the words, “Keep your curiosity alive.”
